Curbs Plus roof curbs and safety screens from Logistics Lighting

Curbs Plus fabricates insulated and non-insulated galvanized steel roof curbs for skylights and smoke vents, a metal-building curb that sits on ribbed roof panels, and Z-frame interior safety screens. Logistics Lighting distributes the Curbs Plus products listed above, quotes them to match the skylight or vent you are installing, and ships direct from the fabricator.

What we carry from Curbs Plus

CPC-3 insulated curbs. 18 gauge, 12 inches high, with 1.5 inch rigid insulation behind a white faced liner and a 4 inch on-center safety screen: CPC-3 4848, CPC-3 4896, CPC-3 6060, CPC-3 6072 and CPC-3 36120. The white liner cannot be painted; a metal liner is available when the interior has to be painted.

CPC-4 non-insulated curbs. 18 gauge, 14 inches high, white-primed inside, with the same 4 inch on-center screen, for roofs where the curb is insulated in the field: CPC-4 4848, CPC-4 4896, CPC-4 6060, CPC-4 6072 and CPC-4 36120. Both CPC lines can be ordered with a 6 x 6 screen, 5 inch on-center burglar bars or no screen, and in 10 and 12 inch heights.

CPM-3 metal building curbs. The CPM-3 36120 is an insulated 9 inch curb with a water diverter on the 39 inch side and R-panel rib covers, so it seals to a ribbed metal roof under a 3 x 10 corrugated skylight.

Z-frame interior safety screens. A 3/16 inch wire screen on a Z-frame that mounts under the skylight to the curb, sized to the curb inside dimension: 4848, 4896, 6060, 6072 and 36120. These are interior safety screens, not roof curbs and not skylights.

Reading a Curbs Plus model number

CPC-3 is insulated, CPC-4 is non-insulated and CPM-3 is the metal-building curb. The four-digit number is the curb inside dimension in inches (4896 is 48 x 96, which measures 51 x 99 outside), followed by the height (12H, 14H), gauge (18GA) and screen spacing (4OC is 4 inch on center). Curb height is set by the roofing details and the unit on top; smoke vents generally want the 14 inch curb. Manufacturer drawings are on the roof curb spec sheets and shop drawings page.
