The Babcock Davis SRCAY36X30FG is the OSHA-compliant safety railing for a 36 x 30 inch roof hatch, with a front-exit self-closing gate and a safety yellow powder coat. It mounts to the hatch curb counterflash with zinc plated steel brackets, so nothing penetrates the membrane or the curb, and it installs at the 42 inch height OSHA and IBC require. It is the standard railing for the BG3630 Personnel hatch. Logistics Lighting quotes the railing with the hatch and safety post and ships direct from the factory.

- Non-penetrating mount. 3/16 inch zinc plated steel brackets fasten to the counterflash with steel backing plates; the roof and curb are not drilled.

Standard railing or ThermalMAX railing?
The SRCAY36X30FG fits the standard-curb BG3630. For the thermally broken BRHTA36x30S1T, use the SRBAY36X30FG, whose brackets are made for the taller ThermalMAX counterflash. Pair either railing with the BSPY safety post. The Bilco equivalent is the RL2-S Bil-Guard, and Kattsafe's KG clamps to hatches of other makes.
