The Kattsafe GRLP.0010 is a 10 foot aluminum ladder protector: a lockable guardrail enclosure with a self-closing gate that sits at the top of a fixed vertical ladder. It keeps the climber an OSHA-compliant distance from the unprotected roof edge as they step off the ladder, and it controls who can use the ladder. The design is non-penetrating on weighted plates, and the GWLCK connection kit brackets attach it to any Kattsafe ladder or to an existing fixed ladder. Where the GRLP fits
The ladder protector completes a Kattsafe fixed ladder such as the RL30 or RL40, giving the landing the guardrail OSHA 1910.28 expects. From the protector, a run of KattGuard GR34 guardrail can continue along the roof edge. For buildings accessed by portable ladder, the KD001 landing platform does the same job.
