4x8 Commercial Skylights

A 4x8 skylight is a nominal 4 ft x 8 ft unit. The nominal size is a label, not a measurement: each brand builds its 4x8 skylight to fit a specific curb, so the outside dimension of the curb decides what fits. We carry 15 4x8 skylights. By outside curb dimension, 13 fit a 51 x 99 in. curb; ask us to confirm the curb for the other 2.

Measure the outside of the existing curb in both directions, to the nearest 1/8 in., before you choose a unit. If the curb is new, pick the skylight first and order the matching curb below.

4x8 fall protection (screens, cages and guards)

Skylights on a roof where people work need fall protection under OSHA. Interior screens drop inside the curb; exterior screens and cages go over the unit. See the skylight screen guide for how to choose.
